7 Phenomenal Photos of Sofia Resing in Zanzibar

Sofia Resing is perhaps best known for her work with L’Oréal Paris and walking the Paris Fashion Week runways. But in 2016, she was an SI Swimsuit rookie alongside Barbara Palvin, Ashley Graham, Tanya Mityushina and Bo Krsmanovic. 

The Brazil native founded her swimwear line Mery Playa in ’18, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

“I’ve been working with numerous swimsuit brands throughout my modeling career, and working with Sports Illustrated will forever be one of my proudest memories and achievements,” she said. “Launching my own swimsuit line Mery Playa with Mery Racauchi is beyond any excitement that I’ve known—being on the creative side and not just the model, designing each piece using my experience and Brazilian heritage has been really fun to bring my vision into life!”

Resing was recently featured in the pages of InStyle and graced the cover of MIAMI magazine. She filmed a short fashion video for Vogue Türkiye last December.
